Utah tasering, Sept. ‘07

Published by wardone at 7:05 pm under General Information Edit This

A video of a traffic stop in Utah involving the submission of a citizen with the use of a taser gun demonstrates the poor communication skills of the patrolman involved.  Such happened in mid September 2007 and gained worldwide attention last fall as the video was put on You Tube.  The event is chilling, because it displays the regard police often give citizens.  Police today demand citizens to pay a godlike respect and threaten you when you ask legitimate questions.  Although I believe the man who was stopped was a bit clueless, the patrolman proved to be incompetent and trigger happy.  When he called the man out of the car, I believe his intent was to taser or arrest – both of which were evil intents.

He should have been fired immediately upon the citizen’s valid complaint.  He was not, however, but I have not followed the story after hearing about it.  More facts can be gathered from going through the reader comments under the video and viewing this video closely.  When I checked today, the comments from the past three hours included more that were in favor of the policeman than when the story was new.  Perhaps this is because more people are becoming aware of it, but this time not people concerned with tyranny - but people who enjoy the trash TV culture.

Apparently the man was tasered twice.  Watch for that.  I have a link on my You Tube profile where this video is categorized under ‘Basic American rights’.  Click ‘Playlists’ at the top of my You Tube page.
